Val-Du-Lakes Campground Rules

Alcoholic Beverages:  Moderate use permitted at your campsite ONLY!  You may not walk around w/ open containers. You must have a valid photo I.D. at check-in.  No kegs/pumped beer are allowed in the campground at any time.  Any kegs, taps, and paraphernalia will be confiscated and become the property of the campground.  No Beer pong allowed.

Age:  No one under the age of 18 is allowed to check into the park, unless you are with parents or guardian.

Campsites: No more than 8 people per campsite.  Do not exceed your site boundaries.  Do not move to a different site.  There is a two-person minimum per site.

Cancelations: If you cancel your reservation 8 days or more, prior to your arrival, you will receive a refund minus a $15.00 administrative fee.  If you cancel 7days or less, prior to your arrival, you forfeit all monies paid.

Check-Out:  Check out time is prior to noon. Re-register by 11:00 am if you wish to extend your stay, or cannot vacate your lot by noon.  Failure to check out by noon forfeits your deposit

Children:  For safety reasons, please supervise your children at all times.  Children must be at their campsite by dusk, unless they are accompanied by an adult.

Defacing Park Property: Cutting of trees, branches, trenching of lots, burning grass, or any other means of destructive behavior, will not be tolerated.  You will be charged for repairs and labor and asked to leave. 

Fires:  Campfires must be in your fire ring only, and attended at all times.  No bon fires or multiple ring fires.  Do not bring firewood into park, that includes pallets. Everything must be burned in your fire ring to receive your deposit back.

Garbage:  Dispose of in dumpster by the office. You will forfeit your deposit if you leave trash in fire ring, on your site, or dump it in the woods.

Grey Water:  Health Department requires closed containers.  Empty your tanks at the dump station only.

Pets:  No more than two pets per site.  Pets must be leashed (no more than 6 feet) and within the owner’s site, at all times.  You are expected to clean up any waste and dispose of it immediately.  Excessive barking, growling or aggressive behavior, may be grounds for eviction from the park.  No animals in the bath house. We do not allow aggressive breeds, such as Pitbull’s or Rot’s or any mixed breed with Pitbull or rot’s in it.  No exceptions.

Quiet Time: Golden Township has a noise ordinance between the hours of 11:00 pm – 8:00 am.  We observe this ordinance and will enforce this rule.  Loud noises during this quiet time (music, racing of engines, loud talking, shouting or who- hos) is not allowedRadios must be off.   11:00 pm – Quite time, Midnight- Whisper (and on your own site), 1:00 am lights/campfires out! 

Showers:  No smoking in the showers or any part of the bath house!  No pets in the showers.  There is a 5-minute limit on showers.

Speed Limit:  Speed limit is 15 MPH throughout the park.

Security Deposit: There is a $50.00 security deposit required to reserve a site.  You forfeit your deposit if you violate any of these rules, are evicted from the park, or do not show, or call to cancel your reservation.  

Vehicles:  You must park vertically on site. No paddle tires or air horns to be used in park. Additional parking is available in the designated over flow parking area behind the office.  Test/tunes, repairing, revving engines, joy riding or loud vehicles will not be tolerated at ANY time in the park.  All toys, buggies, trucks, jeeps, etc.  must stay trailered at all times.  Gates close at 11:00 pm to all vehicle traffic.  You may park behind the office and quietly walk in.  All vehicles entering the park must have a visible parking pass in the windshield.

Visitors:  All visitors must register at the office.  Registered guests are responsible for the actions of their visitors.  There is a $10.00 per day guest pass fee.  All visitors must leave the park by 10:00 pm. No visitors during holiday weekends.

Wristbands: All guests and visitors must have a wristband on to enter the park.  If you lose your wristband, you will be charged full price to replace it.  If you bring your broken or damaged wristband to the office, we will replace it for free.  If you are found with no wristband, you will be evicted from the park.                                         

 

****Fireworks and concealed weapons of any kind are prohibited in the park or on campground property****

 

BY CHECKING IN AND CAMPING AT VAL-DU-LAKES CAMPGROUND, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THE ABOVE RULES AND UNDERSTAND THEM.  ANY VIOLATIONS OF THESE RULES CAN RESULT IN IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE CAMPGROUND AND FORFEITURE OF SECURITY DEPOSIT AND ANY UNUSED CAMPING FEES.
